Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Opula service (the "Service") provided by Opula (the "Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and the user.

1. The Service

Opula is a personal asset recording and analysis tool. Users connect Opula as a connector (MCP) to the AI assistant they already use (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) to record their holdings, balances and cash flow, and to view rule-based analysis such as net worth, portfolio and risk. The Service is provided as a web-based SaaS and includes no installed software or physical goods.
Every figure and analysis Opula provides is a deterministic, rule-computed result, and is not investment advice or a solicitation to invest. Responsibility for investment decisions and their outcomes rests entirely with the user.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created through Google sign-in. Users are responsible for keeping their account and credentials secure, and are accountable for activity that occurs through their account.

3. External data sources

Some data (stock prices, macro indicators, and so on) is retrieved from external services (Yahoo Finance, FRED, and others). The Company does not warrant the availability, accuracy, or timeliness of those external services, and is not responsible for limits or interruptions they impose.

4. Fees and payment

The Service is offered on a free plan and a paid plan (Pro). Fees and their composition follow what is posted on the pricing page. The paid plan is billed after a 60-day free trial, and users can cancel their subscription themselves at any time.
Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). Payment method details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, and the Company does not store payment methods such as card details. Billing, invoicing and VAT handling follow Lemon Squeezy's policies. Refunds follow the separate refund policy.

5. Prohibited conduct

  • Reverse-engineering the Service, or copying, reselling or redistributing it without authorization
  • Placing excessive load on the Service by automated means, or accessing it abnormally
  • Accessing, or attempting to access, another person's account or data without authorization
  • Using the Service for purposes that violate applicable law

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of data, and is not liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for direct or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, or from decisions based on analysis results.

7. Changes to these terms

The Company may change these terms when necessary, and will post changes on this page and update the last-updated date. Continuing to use the Service after a change is deemed acceptance of the change.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to use of the Service are resolved in the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.

9. Business information and contact
